You Can Now Watch IMDb TV on Android or iOS


IMDb TV is now available on your mobile. IMDb was previously only available on the IMDb website, Prime Video, and Amazon Fire devices. However, IMDb TV is now available on the IMDb apps for Android and iOS. Bringing free streaming to your smartphone.

What Is IMDb TV?

In January 2019, IMDb launched Freedive. Amazon, which owns IMDb, soon changed the name to IMDb TV, but the offering remained the same. IMDb TV is a free streaming service stuffed with movies and TV shows. As long as you’re willing to watch a few ads.

The ad-supported streaming service boasts hundreds of movies and TV shows, all available to watch for free. The catalog cannot compete with the likes of Netflix and Hulu, but if you have a penchant for older titles you should find something worth watching.

How to Watch IMDb TV on Android and iOS

Having previously been limited to the IMDb and Amazon devices, IMDb TV is now available on Android and iOS as well. You don’t even need to download a new app, as IMDb TV has been added to the standard IMDb app under the new “IMDb TV” category.

At launch, IMDb TV boasted around 130 movies and 30 TV shows. Titles included Memento and Quantum Leap. Now, thanks to deals with Paramount and Lionsgate, films such as Silver Linings Playbook and TV show The Middle have been added to the lineup.
