If you wish Windows was open source, you should look into ReactOS! Microsoft has made many strides towards being more open. This trend ranges from participation in industry groups to interoperability of its files and applications. Heck, it’s even released many of its own tools and applications as open source. But one area where it’s yet to budge is the Windows operating system (OS).
