Gone is the home button. Gone is the fingerprint scanner. It’s time to make way for Face ID, Apple’s new method of identifying and authorizing users using facial recognition. There was a lot of concern that Apple’s Touch ID replacement would be flaky, slow, and less preferable to the at-times inconsistent fingerprint scanner.
