Google will now feature longer, in-depth articles on the search results page and will call attention to them within a new block of results. The new block of results specifically for in-depth articles will not affect the regular search results as they will get the same prominence as before. The in-depth article block will be nearer the foot of the page, though the exact position hasn’t been confirmed yet. The update has arrived on Google.com (the English version) to begin with and soon should extend to other domains. Google found that nearly 10% of all searches are for detailed information....
